Dresses for Spring

Budget-Conscious Dresses

Maxi Dress

I saw this dress on AmyTwitty’s feed, ordered it so fast and ended up loving it! I love the side ties that can make it as loose or as snug as you want, and the pattern and green color are just right for spring. I’m usually between two sizes and went with my smaller one. The downside is that the material feels a little cheap but doesn’t look cheap.  The $27 price tag is a win.

Pleated Dress

I ended up loving this dress so much, I wore it for Easter. The style is one I’ve always loved, and I was shocked at the great fit. The color was much more vibrant in person, which I thought was great. I’m between sizes and I went up on this one. Downside: the material feels a little cheap, but it doesn’t look cheap. $40

Casual Dress

This dress is similar to the Anthropologie Somerset dress in fit and style, but the fabric is different. It doesn’t go as low as the Antro option and fits a little more snug. Flattering on everyone. A great, closet staple. Downside: I wish the waistband was a little lower. ($50)

Tiered Dress

I just love this dress. It looks great with a belt so it’s more fitted and structured but also looks great left loose and flowy. The orange color is just right for spring and summer and the material is great. Downside: It does wrinkle. $50

A Dress I Love

I’ve had this dress for years and it’s still one of my go-tos. It is so light and airy, it looks good on every body type, and it’s so easy to wear. It packs well and is easy to throw on for any occasion. It does fit a little big.  Downside: I honestly can’t think of one! $37

Floral Dress

This dress is super flattering and so easy to throw on for any occasion. It doesn’t wrinkle, has good sleeves, and comes in cute patterns. It does run big, so size down. Downside: It’s not overly special. $22

Swiss Dot Dress

I’ve had this dress for years and I still just love it. Comes in so many colors and looks good on everyone. I love how you can dress it up or down. A great dress for a special occasion. Runs true to size. Downside: the sleeves are a little shorter than I like. $50

Striped Dress

I’ve seen so many people in this dress and it is darling on them! With a $20 price point, that is such a win!

Cute and Classy!

This dress is SO GOOD! I can’t believe it’s only $30. The material is great, and it has such classic vibes. Comes in lots of cute colors! TTS.

Splurge Dresses

Poplin Dress

This dress is just one of the best. It’s the perfect fit on just about everyone, fabulous material, and amazing colors. It’s a dress you can wear for photos or just to feel great. Easy to dress up or down. It’s also a knockoff of the Somerset dress, but this one is done really well. $70

Somerset Maxi Dress

This is the OG Somerset dress and pretty much everyone just loves it. It looks great on everyone and the patterns offered by Anthropologie make it even more special. TTS. Downside: it can be a little low on some people. $168

My New Favorite Dress

This dress looks and feels like a dream. It isn’t cheap, but I got SO many compliments when I wore it because it’s just different enough to be special. It felt like I was wearing a muumuu but looked totally put together. It’s as light as can be for those hot summer days, but the details and fit are so elevated. TTS, but it is loose and flowy so you could go down. $118

Family Pictures Dress

I loved this one so much I even wore it for family pictures. It’s a perfect, classic dress I feel like I will keep for years. It runs a little big, so if you are between sizes, go down. Use code BROOKE for 10% off. $158

Smocked Dress

This dress is different but really special. The fit is so flattering and the pattern is fun. I love the way it feels both romantic and classic at the same time. Such a fun find! $130
