We are living through a historic time, and I want my kids to be able to remember their thoughts, feelings, and what they learned from living through the Coronavirus.
Before things really open up, we are going to have a family discussion about what all of this has meant to us…highs, lows, and everything in between. Then, I want them to individually fill out these questions. It will be such a gift to look back one day and see how life and perspective changed for each of them.
I also want to make sure we deliberately try to keep the good stuff. There have been hard things through this time but also so much good. We’ve learned a lot and I don’t want it all to just go away because the virus is gone.
Hope this printable helps your family do the same!
AGREE, I live here in LA and at my local WMCA, a man can walk into a women’s locker room. In this women’s locker room there are all races, all ages, BUT we are all female. And there is comfort in that. As soon as a male enters the local room security for us as XX chromosome women is lost. I am a mother of two young daughters, why does a transgender comfort become more important in the laws eyes then mine. And I think about the older women who sit in the locker room, yes a lot of times naked, how would they feel. If I EVER see a man in the female locker room, I will stop using it. I don’t want me and my vulnerable daughters put in that position, I feel like the world has been tipped upside down, and if anyone disagrees with this they are immediately labeled a bad person and sometimes their life can be ruined. It really does make me fume.
