Every once in awhile I need a really good, clean, fun read that is completely enjoyable but not too addictive (you can only handle so many late nights, right?). I found just that in Prayers for Sale by Sandra Dallas. It is a well written book about strong women, love and friendship. It was an intriguing story in a unique setting with rounded, likable characters, fantastic detail and enough tragedy to keep things interesting. It is an overall good read with a well thought out ending that puts a smile on your face.
Highly recommended as a Mother’s Day gift for any woman who enjoys books and friendship. Clean enough to give to your grandmother and interesting enough to give to your sister. As a side-note, if you or someone you love is a quilter, this is the perfect buy for them. They will love it!
